In November, Niece Motorsports announced that Tyler Reif would rejoin the team in 2026 as the anchor driver of the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST. Reif joined the team for his debut in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

The Henderson, Nevada native is a multi-time winner across ARCA Menards Series, Pro Late Models, Jr. Late Models, and U.S. Legends Cars competition. His consistency produced an ARCA Menards Series West owner championship in 2024. This year, Reif primarily competed in ARCA East, finishing second in the points standings.

Niece Motorsports announced today that Conner Jones will once again join the team for a partial schedule in 2026. Jones, who initially joined the organization for five races this season, will drive the No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST in select events during the forthcoming year.

He will share the ride with Tyler Reif, who is set as the entry's anchor driver, among others. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Jones is an accomplished driver who has won in CARS Tour and World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing competition. He also has prior experience in the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, but primarily races in the Late Model ranks on a regular basis.

We had the best time celebrating the #NieceDecade this season as we looked back at the first 10 seasons of the team. From debuting a new logo to start the year, to a special video series highlighting key team members. We ran special throwback paint schemes at team founder Al Niece’s home track at Texas Motor Speedway in May, and launched a commemorative 10 seasons T-Shirt in our team store too. We’ve enjoyed bringing the history of the team to you, our fans.

This month, we introduce you to the newest crew chief on our team, Landon Polinski. Polinski isn’t new to the Niece Motorsports organization though, as he joined the team in 2019 as an engineering intern, and was promoted into the role of crew chief of the No. 42 J.F. Electric team in August. Polinski holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of North Carolina Charlotte.

In 2010, Polinski began his first job working as a mechanic and tire specialist for Shaw Racing’s dirt late model program. During his time spent there, Polinski’s team won two limited late model track championships at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in 2012-13.

At 29 years old, Polinski resides in Denver, North Carolina, with his wife, Megan. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing at the coast.
