Crew Member Spotlight

This month’s crew member spotlight shines on Cole Gajdorus, the Truck Chief on the No. 44 team.

Cole has been a part of Niece Motorsports for six years now, and he has grown in his time with the team since starting out as a mechanic.

He calls Manhattan, IL, his hometown, and began his career working on dirt late models throughout high school before moving to North Carolina.

Cole’s favorite memory he’s made with the team came at Texas Motor Speedway in 2023 when he visited victory lane for the first time while on the No. 42 team with Carson Hocevar.

His go-to race day snack is peanut butter pretzels, favorite track is Darlington Raceway, favorite movie is Superbad, and favorite artist is Lil Wayne.

Cole and his wife, Courtney, recently welcomed their first child, Violet, who was born in February.

San Diego Military Tribute

When the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series heads to Naval Base Coronado, Niece Motorsports will have the opportunity to compete on one of the most unique stages in motorsports, while honoring the men and women who have served our country.

All three Niece Motorsports trucks will feature patriotic paint schemes, but the most meaningful tribute may be found on the bed tops. Thanks to submissions from employees and partners, each truck will proudly carry the names of military service members. Seeing those names represented on track serves as a powerful reminder of the people and families behind every act of service.

The tribute will extend beyond the trucks, with our pit crews sporting special camouflage firesuits as well. From the race trucks to the crew members servicing them, we're proud to honor those who have served and carry their stories with us in San Diego.

Landen Lewis Meets St. Louis

Recently, Landen Lewis made a trip to St. Louis to visit our partners J.F. Electric and Utilitra. The visit gave Landen an opportunity to spend time with the people who help power our program both on and off the race track.

During the trip, Landen attended a special employee event featuring the Utilitra show truck, where he met fans and employees, signed autographs, posed for photos, and even showed off a few golf swings.

Tune-In: Naval Base Coronado

Next up for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is the 16-turn 3.4-mile street circuit in San Diego. The inaugural 50-lap race will take the green flag from the Naval Base Coronado at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, June 19, airing live on FS1.
