NASCAR Garage and Pit Pass Request Procedure Overview

Each guest attending a NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race will receive a unique digital invitation, which serves as the NASCAR Liability and Garage and Pit Pass Waiver. This digital waiver will need to be completed in its entirety prior to arriving at the race track, in order to receive a pass.

What information do I need to provide to be submitted for a pass?

You will need to provide the following:

  • Full Name

  • Cell Phone Number (preferred, and must be a Smart Phone)

  • Or Email Address

Please note that phone numbers and email addresses cannot be repeated. Each guest invitation must be sent to a unique phone number or email address.

What can I expect if my name is submitted for a pass?

Once your information is submitted you should receive a Digital Invitation from NASCAR to the phone number or email address provided. Once you receive your invitation you will be prompted to continue and complete the waiver. This waiver will ask you to complete the following:

  • Full Name

  • Personal Information

  • Photo of Yourself (think passport photo)

  • Photo of your Driver’s License (or other Photo ID)

Once the waiver is completed in its entirety, you will receive a registration Confirmation “QR Code.” If you do not receive this immediately, please check your Spam/Junk folder.

On Race Day, upon arriving to the track, you will enter the NASCAR Credentials area and show this QR Code to a NASCAR employee before receiving your pass.

What if I don’t have a smart phone?

If you don’t have a smart phone, or prefer to fill out the waiver via a desktop e-mail, that is ok! Please open the invitation via your e-mailed invitation and fill the form out as stated above. Then, upon arriving at the race track, please show your Photo ID and a member of the NASCAR Credential team will pull up your information in the system.

Do I need to bring my Photo ID to the race track if I already have my QR code?

Yes, a member of the NASCAR Credential team will still ask for your Photo ID to ensure they are releasing the pass to the proper guest. Security staff throughout the race track may also ask for your Photo ID, as in years past, to confirm the identity of the pass holder.

If I can no longer attend a race, can I forward my invitation to a friend/family member?

Invitations cannot be forwarded (via phone or email) and filled out by any new, or additional guests. For example, if your brother was initially unable to attend and now is free, you cannot forward him your invitation to receive a second pass. All requests must be made through Niece Motorsports and approved prior to receiving an invitation or pass. Passes are non-transferable and must be used only by the registered guest.

Will my pass allow access into the grandstand areas?

No, the track is divided into two access areas: one which is controlled by NASCAR, and the second, the race track, which owns the grandstand, all hospitality areas (tents & suites) and display areas. Only grandstand tickets or a suite pass will allow guests to walk into the grandstand area.

Passes from Niece Motorsports (NASCAR) only allow access into the infield/garage areas, controlled by NASCAR – therefore one pass does not allow access throughout the whole facility. Your designated pass will allow access into the pits and garage areas during the applicable race.

When can I use my pass?

Passes from Niece Motorsports are valid for any day that the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series has on-track activity. For events with practice and qualifying, passes will be valid for all days that there is on-track activity. For events without practice and qualifying, passes will be valid for race day only. Guest hours for your pass will be provided with your event guide. Please note, once the race begins, NASCAR prohibits passholder access to the garage area.
