Cleetus McFarland Pulling Double Duty as Driver and Grand Marshal in NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway

McFarland’s poised to entertain fans from the beginning to the end of the DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics

BROOKLYN, MICH. (June 3, 2026) – Michigan International Speedway announced today that Cleetus McFarland will not only race in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics but also serve as the grand marshal. McFarland will do it all on Saturday, firing up the crowd with the most famous words in motorsports before showing off his talents behind the wheel.

“Bringing a wheelman like Cleetus McFarland to the heart of the automotive capital is a perfect pairing,” said Joe Fowler, President of Michigan International Speedway. “Cleetus is a natural-born entertainer and one of the biggest names in racing today – there’s no doubt he’s going to energize the crowd before putting on a show for our fans as the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series returns to the Irish Hills.”

As an entertainer, McFarland boasts more than 4.75 million followers on YouTube. His channel combines high-octane energy and humor within the motorsports environment, focusing on custom car builds, drag racing, automotive challenges and local races at the Freedom Factory track in Bradenton, FL, which he owns.

As a driver, McFarland is set to make his NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series return at Michigan International Speedway. It marks his first time handling the No. 4 Chevrolet for Niece Motorsports since the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway to begin the season.

"What better scenario than to have Cleetus, who will be driving a Niece Motorsports Chevrolet, at Michigan International Speedway, in the shadow of the manufacturers home, which is also home to DQS and Precision Vehicle Logistics, for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series DQS 250 powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics at MIS," said Jason Wilson, Vice President of Precision Vehicle Logistics. "The great state of Michigan welcomes Cleetus for the race weekend, and he will no doubt get the crowd on its feet while giving the command from the grid aboard his Comprehensive Logistics/Circle B Diecast, Niece Motorsports Chevrolet, to start 'em up, for what we hope to be a very competitive and entertaining race. There is no telling what type of tone and direction he will take the most famous words in motorsports. I can’t wait to see it."

Since his last truck race, McFarland participated in his first two career O’Reilly Auto Parts Series races. His first came at Rockingham in early April while doing so again last weekend in Nashville. Overall, the 33-year-old has run in six races this year between three divisions – ARCA Menards, CRAFTSMAN Truck and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. His best finish came in the ARCA Menards Series when he finished runner up in Talladega after leading the field for 19 of the 76 laps.

“I’m fired up to serve as the Grand Marshal in the DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered By Precision Vehicle Logistics!" said McFarland. "I’ve never done anything like this before, but it’s going to be a super cool opportunity to get to do this before the race. We’re going to be ripping it on Saturday, and I hope to see you all out there.”

The June race weekend at Michigan International Speedway begins with the ARCA Menards Series Henry Ford Health 200 on Friday, June 5, followed by the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series DQS Solutions & Staffing 250 Powered by Precision Vehicle Logistics on Saturday, June 6. The NASCAR Cup Series will cap off the weekend’s action with the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Sunday, June 7.
