No. 42 Comprehensive Logistics Chevrolet Silverado RST

Driver: Conner Jones | Crew Chief: Landon Polinski

- Jones Returns: Fredericksburg, VA’s, Conner Jones will make his fourth NCTS start of the year driving Niece Motorsports’ No. 42 Chevrolet on Friday. Jones’ most recent series start came in the spring race at this track, where he finished in 14th-place. In the time since his last NCTS race, Jones has put on a show in the CARS Tour. He currently sits second in both the PLM and LMSC points standings with only one race left to go.

- Jones’ Charlotte Stats:

  • NCTS Starts: 2; Best Finish: 11th (2024).

- Polinski's Charlotte Stats:

  • NCTS Starts: 1; Best Finish: 14th (2026).

- On the Truck: Jones’ No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from Comprehensive Logistics, a warehouse management company.

- Recapping Kansas: Parker Eatmon and the J.F. Electric team rallied back from two laps down to contend inside the top-10 by the end of the race in Kansas. Eatmon started 30th and made ground early on, but was forced to pit under green after making contact with another truck in stage two. After the rain storm passed, the team took advantage of a strategy call to take the wave around and make up a lap. Eatmon was then able to earn the free pass to get back onto the lead lap late in the race. The No. 42 truck was in position to capitalize with a top-10 finish, but suffered a punctured left-rear tire on the white flag lap. The rookie limped his damaged truck across the line in 22nd.

- Owner Points Outlook: Eatmon’s 22nd-place finish at Kansas kept the No. 42 team posted 24th in the owner point standings. The team is currently 16 points behind Kaulig Racing’s No. 10 team in 23rd, and 28 points ahead of Kaulig’s No. 25 team in 25th.

- Quoting Jones: Charlotte appears to be your best track statistically, so why is that?

“I really like the challenge of racing at Charlotte. It’s a super fast place, but also very line-dependent and technical in some aspects. You have to be really smart when you are racing here because it is easy to overstep it and put yourself in a bad position. We had a pretty good truck here in the spring even with damage, but I haven’t been back in a truck since that weekend, so it will take a little bit to get used to. Hopefully our Comprehensive Logistics Chevy will have a similar pace in it so we can capitalize on it better than last time.”
— CONNER JONES
