- Key Takeaway: Kaden Honeycutt and the No. 45 team fought the balance with their DQS Solutions & Staffing Chevrolet throughout the day at IRP. Honeycutt rolled off from 10th place to start, but experienced a tight handling condition and slid back in the first stage. Utilizing strategy to their benefit, Honeycutt pitted for four tires midway through stage two to pick up a handful of stage points in sixth. With a long run to end the night, Honeycutt was unable to capitalize on his track position, relegating the team to a 15th-place finish.
- Kaden Honeycutt's Post-Race Thoughts:
“I think we all had some high hopes for another short track, but our race just didn’t play out how we anticipated. Our DQS Chevy was really quick on the short runs, but we just got pretty tight once the tires began to wear out. The problem is, we just weren’t really able to get any short runs tonight. I think if we would have gotten a late caution there, we could have ran inside the top-10, but thankfully, we were able to get some stage points so we didn’t lose a ton of ground in the standings. Our team keeps fighting, man, and we just have to keep the pressure on for the next two races before the Playoffs start. We’ll get there, and I’m glad to have these guys behind us. Everyone’s been giving it their all, and we’ll keep it up.”
