- Welcome, Landen Lewis: 2025 CARS Tour Late Model Stock Series champion Landen Lewis will make his first NCTS start of the season behind the wheel of the No. 45 Niece Motorsports Chevrolet this weekend. After taking over for Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Lewis picks up as the anchor driver of the entry and share the balance of the season with Ross Chastain.

NCTS Starts: 1; Best Finish: 24th (Mid-Ohio, 2023).
ARCA West Starts: 4; Poles: 1 (Portland, 2023); Wins: 1 (Portland, 2023); Top-Fives: 1; Top-10s: 2.
- Gould's NASCAR Road Course Stats:
Phil Gould will make his first-career NCTS start as a crew chief at St. Petersburg on Saturday.
NOAPS Starts: 19; Top-Fives: 2; Top-10s: 8; Best Finish: 3rd (Mid-Ohio, 2014).
NCTS Starts: 14; Poles: 1 (Sonoma, 2022); Top-Fives: 2; Top-10s: 9; Best Finish: 3rd (Mid-Ohio, 2022).
- On the Truck: Lewis’ No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from J.F. Electric and Utilitra.
- Road Course Expertise: Lewis is a highly-accomplished road course racer in U.S. Legends Cars competition. The driver won four straight national championships from 2021 to 2025, and clinched the overall world championship in 2024. He has also visited victory lane in an ARCA car, winning from the pole at Portland International Raceway in 2023.
- Recapping Atlanta: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the J.F. Electric team contended for the win in Atlanta, but came up short at the end. Stenhouse Jr. qualified inside the top-five and drove methodically all day long. By keeping his truck up front throughout most of the race, Stenhouse Jr. was in position to make moves late in the going. The No. 45 took the lead with just a handful of laps to go, but lacked help in the draft to capitalize. The team took home a ninth-place finish and notched their second top-10 in a row.
- Owner Points Outlook: Stenhouse Jr.’s ninth-place result in Atlanta helped maintain the No. 45 team’s position in the owner points standings. The team is currently tied for fifth-place with ThorSport Racing’s No. 99 truck, and has a 12-point cushion above the Chase cutoff heading into St. Petersburg.
- Quoting Lewis: This weekend will be your first with Niece Motorsports, so what are you looking to learn this year?
“This year, I’m mainly looking to build a relationship with Phil (Gould) and all the guys on this No. 45 team. We want to continue to start off on a strong note as far as a good, solid finish and just build on it every single week that we go to the track together. I’ve ran on some road courses in NASCAR before - Sonoma, Portland, and Mid-Ohio, so I have a little bit of stock car experience on them. It’s honestly one of my favorite types of tracks to run. These races are so driver-focused and there’s a lot of work that we have to do to make speed, so I’m happy that St. Pete is my first race with the team.”
