Looking Back -
Landen began his racing career at the age of 4 in GoKarts, capturing many National titles and over 150 career wins.
After eight years of GoKart competition, Landen’s father decided it was time for his son to move up and contacted NASCAR Hall of Fame's, Ron Hornaday, Jr., to build a dirt modified. Ron was very impressed with Landen’s natural ability and took him under his wing as a protégé.
He won his first Dirt Modified race at age 12, racing against veterans and gaining national attention. He is the youngest driver to win a Mid-East Modified Series race and won the 2018 Most Popular Driver Award.
In 2019, Landen joined Joe Ryan Racecars to get more experience on asphalt and road courses. Since then, he has proven himself to be a winner on multiple surfaces in both Legend Cars and the ARCA Menards Series.
2021 was a breakout year for Landen who won the Legend Car “Trifecta” of Dirt, Asphalt and Road Course Nationals and the NC State Championship. He also made his ARCA Menards Series debut and won in his second start at the Duquoin State Fair 100.
