- Key Takeaway: Matt Mills and the No. 42 team hung in through a long afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Mills qualified 24th and ran mid-pack through the majority of the event. The J.F. Electric crew made several changes to the balance and they began to push forward, but contact on a restart led Mills to spin with a flat tire. The caution never was displayed, and the team had to settle for a 23rd-place result.
- Matt Mills' Post-Race Thoughts:
“We did a lot of experiments throughout the day and yesterday just trying to get our truck to turn a little bit better through the center. I felt like we made some gains here and there, but nothing consistent. It was very hard to keep our track position out there. Then, there at the end on a restart, the No. 91 (Jack Wood) missed the corner and got into us. Two laps later, we had a left-rear tire go down. It’s very unfortunate, but we get to race at home in a couple of weeks from now and we can get back to it. Thank you to everyone at J.F. Electric, DQS Solutions & Staffing, and Precision Vehicle Logistics for supporting us.”
