- Key Takeaway: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and the AutoVentive / Precision team had a fantastic showing in Michigan. Stenhouse Jr. started from 19th place and continued to move forward as the race went on. In the final stage, the No. 42 crew made noteworthy changes to aid the balance, prompting the truck to come to life. Stenhouse Jr. crossed the finish line in seventh-place, capturing the best finish for both his crew chief and primary sponsor to cap off the day.

- Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s Post-Race Thoughts:

It wasn’t by design, but we saved our best for the last run of the day. We started the race off just a little loose, but I think looking back at the whole race, I was talking with Landon (Polinski) and I think we missed the setup a bit. I led him down a path to change the truck, and we probably shouldn’t have. Because of that, we got behind a little bit on adjustments there, but our team did a good job of getting us back on the other side of it.

I battled with Christopher (Bell) there for sixth, but kind of overheated my right front a little too much trying to catch them. The truck was solid at the end and I had a lot of fun driving from 23rd to seventh in the last green flag run. It seems like I just get more comfortable at the end of these races. I need to do that a little bit earlier in the race to get our track position so we can have a better shot at a top-five or even go battle for a win.
