- Quoting Stenhouse Jr.: How does Charlotte compare to some of the other intermediate racetracks?
“Charlotte is a blast to run. It’s always good to be able to race at home, and the track has produced some great racing on it - especially the last few years. One of my favorite characteristics about the place is how wide the groove gets on a long run. I’ve never raced a truck at a traditional mile-and-a-half track, but if I had to pick one, Charlotte seems to be a perfect place to try it at. The truck racing here is pretty fun to watch, and I know the Niece Motorsports group has had some good runs here in the past. I’m hopeful that our J.F. Electric Chevy will be able to continue that trend on Friday night.”
