Team Stats & Notes

- Niece Motorsports Charlotte Stats:

  • NCTS Starts: 26; Wins: 1 (Ross Chastain, 2022) Top-Fives: 7; Top-10s: 10.

- Road Tripping: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ross Chastain look to run a marathon weekend in Charlotte. Stenhouse Jr. hopes to complete 800 miles between Friday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 and Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600, while Chastain aims for a staggering 1100 miles in a triple-duty NCTS-NOAPS-NCS weekend.

- School Days: Niece Motorsports drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Connor Hall visited Park View Elementary School on Monday to read books to kindergarten, first, and second grade children. On Tuesday, Tyler Reif, Conner Jones, and Parker Eatmon visited East Mooresville Intermediate School to read to third, fourth, and fifth-graders. The team transported a race truck and hauler to the school to give the children an up-close look into their office on wheels.

No. 42 Comprehensive Logistics Chevrolet Silverado RST

Driver: Conner Jones | Crew Chief: Landon Polinski

- Jones Returns: Fredericksburg, Virginia’s Conner Jones returns to the seat of the No. 42 Silverado for Niece Motorsports this weekend for his third NCTS start of the season. Jones’ best result with the team so far this year is a 16th-place effort at Darlington Raceway.

- Jones’ Charlotte Stats:

  • NCTSStarts: 1; Best Finish: 11th (2024).

- Polinski's Charlotte Stats:

  • Landon Polinski will call his first-career race as a crew chief at the Charlotte oval layout on Friday.

- On the Truck: Jones’ No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from Comprehensive Logistics. The truck will dawn a new patriotic paint scheme in honor of Memorial Day weekend.

- Recapping Dover: Parker Eatmon and the No. 42 team had a solid run in Dover, but an untimely pit stop cost them a shot at a good result. Eatmon started in 20th, but adapted quickly to the Monster Mile and learned a lot about ‘aero-racing’. The team was in play to gain a lot of track position through a gutsy strategy call, but a loose wheel forced a green flag pit stop. Eatmon kept his nose clean all race and finished 21st in his second-career start.

- Double Duty: Jones plans to run a double duty race weekend of his own at two separate racetracks. On Thursday, Jones will compete in the ASA STARS National Tour race at Hickory Motor Speedway before stepping into the No. 42 truck on Friday.

- Owner Points Outlook: Parker Eatmon’s 21st-place result at Dover kept the team in 26th-place for the owner points standings. Heading into Charlotte, the team is three points behind Rackley W.A.R.’s No. 26 Chevrolet in 25th, and eight points ahead of Kaulig Racing’s No. 14 truck in 27th. The No. 42 is currently 109 points below the Chase cutline with nine races left in the regular season.

- Quoting Jones: You earned your best-career finish here a couple of years ago, so do you think you could replicate that run this week?

I think we should have a pretty good shot at doing that this weekend. Charlotte is a great track for our team; I feel like all the Niece Motorsports drivers have always ran well here. I enjoy running here as well, the track is bumpy, abrasive, and fun to race on. Hopefully our Comprehensive Logistics Chevy has speed on Friday night so we can turn our luck around from my last race in Texas.
— CONNER JONES
